Warrior Monk turned into Space Marine WIP2

So I was working on the warrior monk and was slapping bits of armor on him. But slowly and bit by bit he started turning out looking too tech-y to really be a monk.

So I decided to just go full-on space marine.

The original drawing had a kinda "meh" bald headed dude for the head which bugged the hell out of me so i decided to slap a helmet on him. The design of the helmet is pretty much the Reaper's mask from Starcraft 2.

I tried to keep him kinda monk-y themed and gave him some kinda shawl thing which i think I'm just going to turn into some kinda shoulderpads that wrap around the back of him.

I also changed up the pose a bit because it looked like he should've been falling backwards on his ass. Instead now he's going to be hanging onto something, the pole will be changed to rebar or something and he'll be climbing over rubble.

I'm not sure if I wanna keep the crotch-flap that most of the space marines I've looked at for reference have.

I might put a chainsword or bolt pistol or something in his right hand...I think I'll do a chainsword.

I'll be posting "progress reports" on this, hoping to finish by the end of the week simply because I can't finish this like I want it to be in a day!
